Note

The Colombia Soto Zen Community is a non-profit religious organization, born as a concrete and positive answer to transform the consciousness of human beings towards a healthy and peaceful society. Our only goal is to provide an ideal atmosphere and environment, where people can benefit from Zen practice. We do not search for commercial concerns or personal profit. We do not have sectarian tendencies and we do not uphold fundamental truths. Our solely motivation is the certainty that this practice can drag out our society from the lethargy, the darkness and the deprive of hope in which it is submerged, as a result of hatred, ill will, greed, violence and social injustice. We are convinced a great change can only emerge from the transformation of our individual consciences. Peace will be possible when we understand how our deeds affect others and that we are not isolated individuals but interrelated beings of an infinite and extraordinary net called life.
