- 1903, Rev. Taian Ueno moved to Peru for his new assignment.
- 1907, built Nanzen-Ji at St. Barbara, Canete County.
- 1908, renamed to Jion-ji by the two head monasteries.
- 1925, replaced to Saint Luis town.
- 1974, the Earthquake collapsed temple.
- 1977, relocated to the current place.
